"But Ken-" he started but was interrupted

"No. He makes you happy right?" The black-haired captain nodded reluctantly to the question "Then that's what matters. Don't let me tear down your happiness. I'm still your best friend. And I'm so happy for you"

Kozume Kenma starts realizing his feelings for his best friend, Kuroo Tetsurō, not too long before he finds out he already had a lover, a blonde hair middle blocker from Karasuno High School. He kept telling himself he would get over it; yet here he was, throwing up blood and- what the hell? Are those petals?!

CW: My book is going to have heavy mentions of blood, mocking of death, jealousy, bullying, mocking, near-death experience, heavy angst, self-doubt, and yelling.

This is a boyxboy love novel, slow burn, and will be sad most of the book. It's a childhood friend trope, with a mix of Hanahaki disease (The victim of one-sided love will grow flowers in their lungs that will crush and kill them if they don't do one of three things: confess to their crush, get surgery which removes both their will to love and the memories of the victim, or have the feelings are returned).

I do not own the characters in the story, the setting, or the disease itself. I do however own this specific plot as this was a roleplay my friend and I did before they stopped roleplaying.
