I'm planning on rewriting this story and ofc I'll let you guys know when I'll start posting!
Talia is a 15 yr. old girl who has been through a lot since she was a child. Her mother, dead and her dad was God knows where.
She had to fend for herself since she was 9. She had been researching a lot about herself and ancestors to see if she had any family left. Indeed she did, she found out that she was somehow related to Dr. Greene who apparently also had a daughter. She decided to meet them and tell them everything and how she thinks they're related.
Her arrival started off rocky and she had been doubting herself if she was doing the right thing. She then found out that Griffon Rock was not an ordinary island and had a huge secret. A secret she would then find out in dire circumstances.

He is at least somewhat aware of us, the reader, and acknowledges us often, that's why he takes explains things with oddly, making a comment or two about how he should've known you wouldn't know that thing.
