★★★ "Are you ready?" "I was born ready!" Then we took off in a rocket ship. I was screaming like crazy, like my life depends on it. I held his arm tightly, and looked at him. I can see the stars shimmering in his eyes. He was smiling. He was calm. Then our eyes met, and it was like an eternity. An eternity of us just looking at each other. I felt like I was going to faint. Then he leaned closer, and whispered in my ear... "Flying to the Moon." ★★★ Hanan Mayari Magbago, also known as Maya, is a Filipina that moved to Germany to continue her High school education. "Marylin, I'm leaving." We were sitting on the swing, I was leaning on him. We were best friends since 3rd grade. Now we're in highschool, moving forward to college. But there was a problem. I fell in love with him. No matter how long I've denied it, I was in love with him since he took me away from my problems. And now he's leaving. I had to tell him how I felt. "You're leaving?" I got up and looked him in the eye. My eyes watered. I didn't want him to leave. How could I live without him? "I'm going to New York. I got accepted into the college I always wanted to go. Aren't you happy?" "Of course I'm happy! But what about us? What about everything we planned?" I close to crying. "When I come back, we'll do it all." "Promise?" "Promise." He got up and left. I sat there, letting all the tears flow out. I hoped he kept his-no-our promise. Maybe, just maybe, I'll tell him the truth.
