Welcome to book 2. I advise you read Bones first before reading this book What if Sally didn't die? Sal fisher has never had an easy life. His mother was taken from him at a young age. Along with her being gone the thing that killed her destroyed Sal's face leaving the poor boy to wear a prostetic on his face for the reast of his life. Sal's father Henry wanted to bury the past and did the best he could the only problem was Sal. In rage and sadness Henry begain taking out his anger on Sal leaving the boy even more broken and alone. Once the two moved into the apartment Sally had found a friend and soon to be boyfriend. But something always haunted Sally and that was the death of his mother. Sal believes it was his fault his mother was killed and that selnt him down a dangerous path or depression. He tried to take his life once but his boyfriend found him and reminded him he is loved and it was not his fault. Sal goes to a party one night with his friends and begins to feel alone. He leaves the party and walks to a lake where he decides to end it for good. He takes off his shoes and prostetic and leaves it in the grass, He begins walking into the cold water slitting his wrist with each thought each step. He finally goes under and begins to see the light. But he never goes to it...Why?
