Y/n is a conduit, but he awoke to his powers recently, so he's not as experienced as most conduits are at his age. The drawback of being a conduit is that he has no aura, they are seen as soulless. This, of course, is not true, their aura is suppressed by a mutation in genes, aka the conduit gene. He has gotten into beacon based on combat ability and general endurance alone. His family was complicated, yet, somewhat stereotypical. Dad left when he was young, mom is all he has, he was bullied, etc. etc.

He always looked up to the huntsmen and huntresses, two in particular. Electric man, and The Smoker. Both conduits, but, the only ones even only some would accept, most still didn't like them, but Y/n? He thought their powers were cooler than any semblance. He wanted to lead by their example, so, he's training to be a huntsman.Public Domain

As he's kidnapped, he finds something very old and he becomes someone else completely; an Assassin. He'll soon understand the world more and the words that he always heard but never understood will finally make sense: "Where other men blindly follow the truth, Remember, nothing is true. Where other men are limited by morality or law, Remember, everything is permitted. We work in the dark to serve the light. We are assassins." Key factors about this story: 1.
