Violin prodigy Tsukada Aoi has been selected to perform at the prestigious annual Saino Festival, and her mother couldn't be happier. Aoi's future career hinges on this performance, but when she steps into the training grounds of the abandoned Seishin High School, a dark room is not what she expects to be drawn to.

As the days count down to the festival, Aoi is plagued by visions of hexagons and the ever-present pleas of a spirit to free it from its long imprisonment. Unable to withdraw from the Saino due to her ambitious mother, Aoi is forced to put up with the hauntings and becomes intrigued when the spirit shows an aversion to her newfound friend Noriko, a ballet dancer with a past long forgotten.

Seventeen-year-old Rei Asano hears war drums in his chest when he's angry, and lately, they're always beating. Ever since a lightning storm cracked open the Tokyo skyline and nearly leveled his school, Rei's life has been unraveling: blackouts, hallucinations, bursts of electrical force he can't control. The truth? He's become the vessel of Raijin, the ancient Japanese god of thunder and destruction. And Raijin isn't just waking up. He's taking over. Then there's Kaori Tsukimura: sharp-tongued, tightly guarded, and hiding a quiet grief that runs deeper than anyone knows. She keeps her emotions locked away, until a whisper in the dark calls her by a name no one remembers-Inome, the goddess of love... and vengeance, erased from the divine pantheon centuries ago. When their paths collide, Rei and Kaori discover that their bond is more than coincidence-it's myth repeating itself. Raijin and Inome were once divine opposites: passion and restraint, war and yearning. Now, as their hosts grow closer, those ancient desires threaten to reignite with catastrophic force. Across the city, other teens are awakening as hosts to gods: some long-forgotten, some desperate to remain in control. Factions rise-one fighting to resurrect the erased, another determined to destroy them before the world tears open. With divine war on the horizon, Rei and Kaori must decide what's more dangerous: the gods within them, or the feelings pulling them together. But every time they touch, the Veil thins. Memories blur. The line between self and god fractures. And love, if it still belongs to them at all, might be the thing that ends everything.

Azeki was once a living mortal who ascended to Anji status and is no longer associated with her Dookian past life. However, supernatural forces have infiltrated the Anji realms, manufactured from the process of Azeki's rise to the ethereal dimension. Azeki's daughter, Zakela, was born a Dookian but never ascended to Anji status. Azeki, on the other hand, since belonging to the Anji settlement of Sakooisi, created a partial Anji clone of her biological daughter, who, in the beginning, seems like any child -- clumsy, childlike, but loving and adorable. However, as Azeki seeks answers regarding a creature known as Shadowlight, Zakela takes a turn for the worst. After restoring her lost memories since ascension, Azeki learns that Shadowlight is a part of a paradox, and Zakela is one of the forms the creature takes. Determined to put things right, Azeki journeys the world to uncover the "soul fragments" of the creature within this massive paradox. However, one day, she doesn't just lose the memories of her past life from ascension but loses all memory associated with all timelines she once lived. Now, awoken again, Azeki frantically tries to work out what has happened, with an obsession over valuables she once possessed. With the paradox relentlessly repeating itself, does Azeki have what it takes to defend the universe from Shadowlight's brutal assaults, or will she falter at the hands of the daughter she loves the most in the whole world? Will her own emotions be the end of her life, or will she succeed past even her expectations? Cover Art by Ivan Zanchetta & BookCoversArt.com
