It's been 20 years since Cybertron has been revived. The kids (or adults now) have grown up and had children of their own, telling them of 'made up' alien adventures.
The Autobots had been enjoying the new Cybertron, but a broken relic causes them to return to their past home.
Without realizing their human friends had grown up and had found new friends and have children, they try to find them in the endless maze that Earth now is.
But the original charges have all tried to forget the traumatic experiences that they went through as younglings, putting it down as childish illusions. They no longer believe that the Autobots were real, just a game they played together to feel special.
So how will their own children convince them it wasn't and those same bots and cons alike were back on Earth, what happens when the cons find the bots and they are forced to fight once again?
But that's not all...
All characters belong to Transformers apart from the new children and a few other characters.

Alias is an unusual girl. She doesn't remember who she was when she was younger, her first memory was as a 6 year old, stumbling through the woods into an old abandoned barn, wounded and weak. And while Nickname has the Decepticons chasing him, Alias has a group of human sized metal warriors that seem endless and relentless chasing her. Once they meet the Autobots though, they seem to have found their peace, until they decide to help the Autobots of course. I mean, after Alias tries to kill them.
