Oliver was the golden child.

He was the youngest of 4 with straight A's, graduated Junior year and published a book in Sophomore. His parents were strict, concerned with material wealth and less concerned with their children who never managed to keep a good relationship with them. All besides Oliver, who was raised on a pedestal for his achievements.

After he catches his older sister sleeping with his college boyfriend, Oliver decides to move to New York to live with his garage-band older brother and drug-addict sister, trying to write another book. However, after the breakup-all he saw was black and white. Death. Anguish. Everything was numb and cold-including the streets of NYC.

Then came along Henry, the cute, colorful, mysterious boy working at the bookstore, who glowed brighter than the sun. Clashing with Oliver's bleak outlook on life, Henry offers a frustratingly beautiful sense of hope. However, Oliver's wounds may be too deep-forgiving and trying to move on is harder than it sounds.
