Dance was a constant in Grayce Hale's life. Since she was a little girl her mother used it to teach her control on full moons. Unlike all her family she had a gift, one not even her siblings were allowed to know about, just her mother, her uncle Peter, and her oldest sister Laura. She was more than a normal werewolf. Soon after mastering her abilities and control at the mere age of nine. She was a child protege in both werewolf nature and dance. This was noticed by many. The New York Academy for the Dramatic Arts. A month before she was due to leave Kate Argent burned the Hale's alive. Everyone was in the basement, all except her. There was no need for her to be there; she had control so she was drawing in her room. Laura and Derek came home from school and the realization set in that they were all that was left. Laura had inherited her mother's alpha hood. Grayce didn't want to leave anymore but the older siblings told her she had to for her mother who so wanted to see her make her dreams come true.
