On surface, Marinette Dupain-Cheng seems like your average 14 year old girl who's kind to others and always lends a helping hand. However, Marinette has a secret:
She's a nephilim. Half human, half angel.
With her biological mother and father out of the picture, and her adoptive parents, Tom and Sabine, dead, Marinette goes to a school especially made for nephilims like her. Everything was honestly fine.
But then, a new kid showed up: Lila Rossi.
With the most of her class turned against her thanks to Lila's lies (except for Nino and Chloe) Marinette is driven to her wits end. After a huge argument that leads to her getting beaten up, the blunette ends up running off and unexpectedly ends up at the hands of two hunter brothers who end up helping change the young nephilim's life for the better.
