Takes place in yet another newly created (and probably unoriginal) Undertale Universe.

Many years ago, a human child named "Frisk" fell into the underground. Filled with grief  due to realizing they survived the fall, filled with anger because of how the other humans treated them, and filled with DETERMINATION, for it was their dominant soul trait, they immediately went genocide. They disregarded everyone's attempted companionship, slaughtering all who got in their way, and forced the rest out of hiding in a desperate attempt for more EXP. When the demon that called itself "Chara" came to Frisk and helped them erase the world, they realized what they had done. Suddenly feeling sorry for the lives they had ruined. And so Frisk reset, bringing everyone and everything back to zero. They became a true pacifist, enjoying every moment, every battle, every line of dialogue their friends had with them. Finally breaking the barrier, with the help of Asriel, and setting the monsters free, Frisk was happy. And they had a choice.

"The Time Before" by ANinnyMouse42 is the backstory for Sans in this AU with some adjustments (mainly since that was very close to my original idea before I read it and I don't want people to think I copied their masterpiece or smth, if you haven't read it please do so, it's really good). Some things will be in reference to the other books in the trilogy or "From War to Science" by Emotistic-optimistic. If you haven't, read that too. It's really good (along with its sequel). Alexandra or Alex for short was a normal human in a real world with game name Undertale by Toby Fox and the Undertale AU made by the fans of this game. But one day her world turn upside down, because a dark man took the main characters name Frisk, Chara, and flowey plus all of AU skeleton brothers. And he want to take over the whole Undertale worlds. So its up to her to save their world before their world disappear forever and she will know who she ready is inside herself. Note: This is my first Fanfiction that I did for two year of writing with my OC from the Undertale series and if I mess up on any characters in this story from Undertale series or Undertale AU My sorry I did my best. other thing can't make a pun so sorry again if I mess anything in this. (Y/N). A peculiar soul; A human core, with a skeleton's power. Her parents are ashamed of her, beating her every time they catch her using magic. One day, she accidentally hurts someone, and they bring her almost to the point of death, trapping her in her room. After the incident, time has begun to reset. Two months pass, and then it all starts over again. After two months, she's plunged into immediate pain and suffering. When she feels like she just can't take it anymore, she decides to take her own life as a sort of experiment. Y/N blasts through the wall, making her way to the chasm, where she hurls herself in.. And wakes up. Almost immediately, she's met with a threat, coming from a flower, no less. She deduces that this must be an evil sort of hell for people like her. People with magic. Her opinion is only further confirmed when she meets a skeleton who wants to kill her for existing. When Sans finds her, he's immediately confused. The absence of Frisk only adds to the confusion. Maybe this human can remember the resets. Maybe she hurt the kid because she wanted to be the most determined. Maybe this is the demon. Without fully understanding (Y/N)'s backstory, he goes after this anomaly in the timeline. He eventually decides that she isn't that bad after all; Just another depressed soul, not unlike himself. The two hit it off, their personalities obviously compatible. But what happens when one of them feels something more? And what happens when an old rival returns? HEADS UP: I really hate when, like, half the story or the whole sequel is full of pure fluff. Once (Y/N) and Sans get together, there will still be relationship drama and story drama and such. ALSO! This story is ongoing. It will have errors. Updates will occur every 2 days, and I won't edit them. Edit: OK. SO. The first few chapters are NOT a good representation of my skills. Once the story is done, I'll probably go back and edit, but for now just know that it gets better. I think.

Eventually she wanted to give her soul to monster kind as a thank you for helping her. She wanted the race to live happily. (Y/N), a shy and quiet girl fell into the underground. You lost most of your memories from before you fell. And on top of that, the barrier had not been as persistent as the soul trait it had lacked. With Determination in your soul, you set off on a journey with three friends to get back home.

Many years have passed since the war between the humans and monsters. The humans won, and shut the monsters in a place called the underground. Keeping them there with a magical barrier, it took seven usable souls to shatter the barrier, but being monsters, their souls didn't work. Instead, they had to use human souls to break the barrier, and even then, humans were not likely to fall in. Because the human waste system ends up in the underground, the monsters are informed of what's going on up on the surface, and have developed human-like lifestyles, which included scholarship, friendships and the like, but it seemed, that the monsters were eager to get back on the surface again. Six humans were unlucky enough to fall into the underground, and the leader of the monsters, Asgore Dreemurr killed these humans to use their souls for removing the barrier. Asgore thought that those humans were the only ones that would fall in, but he was wrong. Two more humans fell in, but their souls were lost before Asgore could even use them, and those soulless ghosts were doomed to haunt the underground. Now playing the waiting game, Asgore patiently waited another human to fall, and fall it would. (Sorry! No Muffet or Grillby in this one!)
