Lucille 'Lucy' Opal Baker finds herself in the 21 century sporting the title of Aunt while lugging along her metal-armed partner, choosing to walk away from the fight for the first time in decades.

But her relationship with James starts to strain as forgotten memories are brought to light and the pair become lost in an explosive disagreement which leaves both of their world's crumbling. The universe doesn't seem keen on giving them a break and Lucy finds herself fighting-not a psychotic man with god syndrome, not a supposed god from a different planet-no, she finds herself fighting goddamn robots.

With HYDRA still looming around the corner and a mysterious man desiring to split the Avengers into shattered pieces, Lucy and James finds themselves caught between an international dispute that does nothing but stir chaos.

Sometimes things have to be worse before they become better.

Sequel of Rumors of War, The Immortality War, and Winter's War. Book Four of Five. Set during Captain America: Civil War. .•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•. "I love you, James Buchanan Barnes. Just breathe. Your war is over." I loop my fingers around his, making one small connection as the whole world falls apart around us. Bucky takes my white Lady Liberty helmet off my head, allowing my messy braided hair to fall out. With a small smile, he brushes my dark bangs from my eyes. I close my eyes and lean into his hand. Whatever happens after this, we've found each other again. If that's the only good thing that survives today, I'm okay with that. .•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•. Two years have passed since Alexander Pierce nearly fulfilled HYDRA's mission. Two years have passed since the Insight carriers were destroyed. Two years have passed since they discovered that Bucky Barnes was not only alive but has been the Winter Soldier for seventy years. Two years have passed since Emma made the ultimate sacrifice to defeat HYDRA and awaken Bucky within the Winter Soldier. Much has happened in the time she was asleep. The Avengers have fought another threat of their own making and have added new members to the team. Grant Barnes is alive, Steve and Natasha are a couple, and Bucky is still missing. To Emma, everything seems to be the same. But nothing lasts forever. The events of a failed mission force the Avengers to make a choice: safety or freedom. Sides are taken which sever the Avengers down the middle. Things are not always as they seem. Agendas and secrets split apart the Avengers more effectively than enemies ever could. And with a confused Bucky in the mix, the truth about his and Emma's past is bound to come to light: the good and the bad. One secret in particular involves all of them. A secret that will bring the Avengers to their end. [COMPLETED] {Cover by @CaroDelMonte © 2018}

Now that the Winter Soldier is off the grid and Hydra is officially stripped of their power in S.H.I.E.L.D., Kara is finally ready to get back on her feet and set things right, both on the battlefield, and for her past. Her mental health is improving with the help of the Avengers, who have now become the only group of people she can call a family. Though all of Hydra's secrets were released, they still have many different bases and facilities around the globe where they are looking to regroup and regrow their power. With the help of her fellow Avengers, Kara sets out to track them all down, and take them out. They discover that one of the facilities houses Loki's scepter, so they must find it and take it back. Meanwhile, Tony and Bruce made a horrible mistake. Their mechanical creation, of whom they had named Ultron, poses yet another threat of war and destruction on mankind, and promises the Avengers' extinction. During this battle against the powerful Android, Kara runs into two siblings, who she had a damaging encounter with as an assassin for Hydra. Wanda and Pietro Maximoff. Once again, Kara is forced to face her past in a not-so-favorable way, while simultaneously proving to herself and the world that she is not the monster that she used to be; only this time, most of the other Avengers are facing the same exact self-reflective challenge. Takes place during Avengers: Age of Ultron All marvel characters are owned by Marvel. The only characters I own are Kara, aka The Tigris, and Eugene Adams.

Orphic - James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes

24 parts Complete

Orphic (Adj.) mysterious and entrancing; beyond ordinary understanding. "You are infuriating." "So are you, Mister Barnes." * "Don't you dare to give me that look." "Don't touch me with that cold-ass arm then." A James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes love story. Based on my own original character and her life. It happens at the time of the Marvel Avengers movies, (especially Civil War). Cursing inside and maybe mature themes, you have been warned.
