When Roe's family moves into The Village of Four Seasons in the Ozarks, she runs into a group of boys that are more bizarre, yet more caring than the people she is forced to call family. She wants to know the feeling of friendship, the feeling of youth, the feeling of love, and she thinks that these boys can give that to her. But is she willing to sacrifice herself to the wrath of her reality in order to know this group of people, so different from what she knows? And what will happen if they find out the truth?
