Since Jules was young her father instilled in her two things, one, to take care of her little sister Imani, and two, if he one day couldn't take care of them, becoming a casualty of the game, she should step up and do what needed to be done.

Seven years later her dad is gone, and with no support in sight, Jules has taken on the role of sole provider for her sister Imani. One way Jules chooses to get it, is by dating Capone, one of Miami's top dealers in the game. Capone treats Jules okay, he buys her everything she could ever want and treats Imani like a princess, but Jules knows that there is a better life out there somewhere. Somewhere just seems impossible.

Then Jules meets Sonny.

Sonny is one of the hottest up and coming rappers out. Music is his life, and definitely a way to provide his family with a much better existence. He is finally becoming a household name after working so hard. It seems as if every girl wants him, and every guy wants to know him, but for some reason, he only seems to want to know Jules, it's just something about her, and he wants to find out. Before he gets the chance, there is one major problem that he'll have to face, Sonny is currently newly signed to Capone on his label. Capone holds the contract to Sonny's career.

After shared secret looks begin to blossom into something more, Jules and Sonny embark on a journey through each others souls to the somewhere else Jules has been looking for, but Jules still belongs to Capone, and so does Sonny. Will they ever be able to find the happy ending they're looking for?
