This is a story that my friend and I wrote for our English class. It's in two different perspectives and this story is from the perspective of my character, Irene. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Who's that?" I whispered to myself. I got up and made my way over to him. He was wearing a white button-up and had it tucked into his slacks. He wore black suspenders to hold them up, or just for style, I didn't know which it was. He had a glass in his hand and it looked like it was filled with water. Who comes to a bar and orders water? "Hey there, don't think I've seen you around here before," I said, pulling him away from his thoughts. "Hey, yea, it's my first time here." He looked up at me and then around the room. He seemed a bit suspicious, but that was probably because I just met him. He seemed as though he was closed off and not interested in the conversation. "How are you enjoying the place?" I questioned. He nodded his head and gave an affirmative 'it's nice'. I nodded my head at his response, told him I hope he enjoys his night and walked back over to my table. "What was that about?" Jack asked me as he handed me my drink. "Nothing much, he seems hinky though." We both looked over to the strange man. He was just looking around at the place and drinking his water.
