"Mate" a growl escaped my lips. 

The room turned to watch me. I hadn't said it. She had. But she was dead. I broke our stare and held my temple. A howl erupted in my mind. My body spasmed furiously in shock. Before I even knew what was happening I was on the floor.

No one knows who or what is coming all they know is they have to band together and fight the force that lies in the depths of the wood behind the northern mountains.
