~Thank you for the continued love for this series! I was 13 when I began this book, and am now taking the time to go back to completely rewrite it, and maybe just publish someday~ I'm 15 and my name is Astrix. Let's start with that. That seems like an easy thing to start with. Now, let me add in some other details. I live in a zombie apocalypse. Yeah, that's about as enjoyable as I can make it seem. In this society, twice a year they have this thing they do called the slimming out ceremony. This slimming out ceremony is to help the city slim out, like in the name. Though the cities that do this ceremony are the biggest so why do they do this? They only take out ten people for the whole year. Five for every half year. Why are the people that control the city really doing this? On the day of the slimming out ceremony they kill five people. Everybody huddles around their TV waiting for their name not to be chosen. They think these big cities they won't get chosen, but that's not true. Beware of the slimming ceremony because when you get chosen, Insanity. Is. A. Pleasure.Complete

I never thought my life could make a 180 degree turn . I just wanted to party and enjoy like the rest of the teenagers in the world. Never thought one day I would wake up and see the world differently. Like , bad different. All I know is that my mind doesnt want it. But unfortunately, fate has something else for me.
