Adanna Okpara is a 28year old independent lady. She has a job and an apartment of her own. She's proud of her accomplishments but one thing puts her in misery sometimes. She is constantly bad-mouthed by people because she wasn't married and her two younger sisters were. Even her own mother made her feel bad.
She tells her story... the good, the bad and the funny alike. Does she find love? Maybe. Does she get married later on? Just maybe. This story is sited in a traditional Igbo setting and portrays some of the things that happen in an Igbo event, funny or serious.

DAGGASH also has its, which differs from any other families of the Shuwa Arabs in that country Being a member of the 'DAGGASH' was everything she hates in life, she regretted being brought to such a family that goes under the will and control of a selfish old lady 'AYYA' She doesn't understand why must everything has to go just as Ayya commands?!! Can't they just live a happy life with no Ayya and her problems!! Is that a lot to ask for?! It's a rule laid by Ayya , a rule that has been going on ever so long, which makes things more complicated. She can't believe that Ayya is the one to tell her what to dream of and what not to! Her mates are down their in their graves and she's here trying to take control over their own lives. The rule says "NO ONE IS EVER ALLOWED TO MARRY A SPOUSE OUT OF THE BOUNDARY OF THE DAGGASH" and what annoys her more is that Ayya is to match spouses. That's not the only rule Ayya laid, there are many more others , she felt disturbed. Suffocated. Prisoned. Weak. She wondered how her parents were able to go through all this, now that. She couldn't live her normal life. Why must Ayya take her family's happiness for her own self satisfaction?!! Is she this heartless?!!! "Obanma if you keep vibrating like a car engine, neither of us would get good sleep. I can feel the bed shaking from way over there" He gestured at the edge of the bed where lay he before. She was truly very beautiful and innocent. He knew deep down that she could escape if she wanted to, he was no superman and she would definitely elude him. His hands itched to caress and hold her, that feeling was not alien, he had always felt protective of the girl.
