Down From Your Tower

Pride.
The problem is just pride. I'm not even sure if it's pride or maybe it's just me.
I hope it doesn't swallow us both. That it's not an illusion.
I feel it. I really do.
It was only a matter of time but there's no way to deny it.

Will you tell me that? I hope you do.
I don't know anything anyway. I just hope that we are on the same page.

Have you ever felt like you know it's true, that you two have established a connection that only the both of you can understand? That the reason it's hard to explain it to your friends is because they don't understand at all.

Maybe it's just pride or maybe it's just me.

So let us both go down from our towers, I want to know if it's just pride,
