IMMUNITY BITE | DARYL DIXON

Mackenzie Belle Grimes - the daughter of Rick and Lori Grimes, and big sister to Carl Grimes. She had always been too mature and smart for her age, so far as graduating King County High School at the age of 15 and taking a 5 year course to be a neurosurgeon at the University of California. When her mother calls her in a frantic that her father has been shot and needs to come home, she's immediately on the next flight to Georgia. A few weeks later, the world goes to shit with the dead beginning to walk with a hunger for human flesh. Now in a small group outside of Atlanta by an old quarry, they all try to survive the best they can.

But that all gets even more challenging when Mackenzie ends up getting bit, but doesn't appear to be turning. Questions arise when it's made clear that Mackenzie, for reasons unknown, is the cure for humanity. But the only way to extract the cure is if Mackenzie was dead, and the group wasn't about to let her sacrifice herself for the world. Especially not a certain redneck.
