*SEQUEL TO THE POST SUNDAY EXPERIMENT*

Days after graduating her senior year of high school, Aubrey Nadir finds herself lost and looking at the only place she's ever had. The sky. When her mother died eleven years ago, the child seemed to lose her heart. She did not know how to move on, so she did all she could to keep up her one, childish promise to her mom. The promise was this, that she would 'take her mom to the stars.'

So here, eleven years later, Aubrey continues to watch the midnight diamonds above. Doing all she can, Aubrey dreams of being accepted into a certain NASA internship program in her gap year before college. This will allow the penniless girl from Washington, DC to have a chance at something bigger in life than the polluted sidewalks and flashing streetlights of her city.

Holding onto hope after school ends, Aubrey comes across something odd in the pattern of the sky. A black circle that blends into the sky covers a select few stars. Sharing her observations and theories with her blog, a member of an organization called "The PSE" notices her unique theory that changes the way we look at our universe.

Later accepted by this internship Aubrey believes to be with NASA, she soon finds it is not what she expected. She is not studying the sky but instead needed to work with the PSE, the military, the US government, and select NASA employees to understand this circle that has the potential to cause unexpected, devastating effects.

MY ADDICTION TO BELLAMY BLAKE FUELED THIS. ~~~~~~~~~~~ (Y/n) Griffin has always been the protector - especially when it comes to her younger sister, Clarke. So when Clarke is thrown into the Ark's lockup after their father's death, (Y/n) isn't sure if this nightmare is the beginning of the end... or just the beginning. Then the unthinkable happens: One hundred juvenile delinquents - including Clarke - are exiled to a devastated Earth, a planet still poisoned by nuclear fire and haunted by its own ghosts. A death sentence wrapped in false hope. If Clarke's fate lies there, (Y/n) knows she can't stay behind. But Earth is no salvation. It's a savage world where the ground itself seems to turn against you, where shadows lurk in every forest, and survival demands impossible choices. Friends become enemies. Allies become threats. And every step forward might be the last. Back on the Ark, power games and cold betrayals shattered trust. Down on Earth, the lines between right and wrong bleed together, and no one is who they seem. (Y/n) finds friendship within the 100 kids. Although Bellamy Blake - a leader forged in fire - is both a rival and a puzzle she can't crack. His loyalty is fierce but unpredictable, and his demons run just as deep as hers. In a world where trust is scarce and every moment could shatter everything, can (Y/n) balance war, loyalty, and a heart she never expected to surrender again? Life changes in an instant. And within this game, one wrong move means losing everything. ~~~~~~~~ Completed: December 2024 The 100, Seasons 1-5 (imo it went on for a bit long and then I didn't even get around to watching the last season BUT LIVE LAUGH LOVE THIS MUCH OF IT) All the characters are from the show aside from the ones that are obviously not in the show (i also recommend the incredible books but they're quite different!)
Scorpio by Turtles5188
16 parts Complete
A desert-town math whiz meets an ambidextrous artist, a Scorpio... in the wake of a best friend's death, two white envelopes that freak people out, and a diamond pearl that might be LSD. In the outskirts of Las Vegas, freshman Aurora (a.k.a. Ari) takes refuge in calculus and probability problems to escape the demons of her painful past. Math was what the prestigious prep school Staglight Academy had recruited her for-her, a girl from the wrong side of the train tracks. Plus, numbers are logical; math makes sense. This predictable world built on immutable mathematical theorems doesn't plague you with chronic insomnia, doesn't let Katrina-your best friend-die, and definitely doesn't hurl a tornado through the middle of the Mohave. But a desert cyclone is exactly how their twin escapes begin-Ari, running from the horrors that have chased her throughout time, and Xanexa, running from the horrors that have chased xyr across the universe. They run until they meet, when Ari comes face-to-face with xyr, an amazing artist whose sketches are so real they could come to life. From that initial encounter, she begins to discover the dangerous, life-threatening truths that had been buried with Katrina. Under an increasingly constricting web of manipulation and deceit that imperil Ari and those around her, those truths resurface with the ones about herself that had been buried beneath the sands of time-truths that are wholly irrational, just like art-- --and pi, a number xe shows her the end to, even though it is real, irrational, natural, and never-ending.

"As far back as I can remember, I've been surrounded by water. The salt in the air even now makes it hard to breath, forcing me to squint. Sand clings to every inch of me, caking my pants and shoes. The wind from the ocean picks my hair up, sending it blowing back towards the multi-colored houses lining the shore line. *** 'Quinn, don't panic,' Lexi says through gritted teeth. She holds fistfuls of my shirt now, and I hear the rubber soles of her shoes squeaking. 'Too late,' I whine, grabbing the barbed wire in a last desperate effort to regain some balance. The razor sharp blades cut into my palms, making me jump again. Lexi sucks in air and loses her grip on me. I hold my breath and close my eyes, feeling the wind cradle me from all sides as I fall at about twenty-four miles per hour, considering the height of the wall and my weight. Now, I wish I was surrounded by water." South of Compound 4, another compound exists. Within the wall of Compound 5, children are trained and tested for perfection through the Intelligence Exam, a test that every student takes during their sixteenth year. Pass, and you stay within the compound. Fail, and you are sent to another compound. It's common knowledge that they are building a perfect population to remain when the rest of the world falls to the Virus. Yet, what happens when Quinn faces the threat of Compound 5, a short blonde girl whose name he can't pronounce, and begins to question everything he's ever been taught, pushing the limits of the system and his own comfort zone? When a student receives the compound's first ever perfect IE score, a storm makes its way in from the ocean. Can Q unravel the secrets held within the walls, or will he lead his family and friends to a war they can't win against a woman who seems to be triumphing against all odds? Selected is the sequel to Immune, found on my profile. Record Ranking: #25 in Science Fiction

"We don't have a Caretaker. We have a Creationeer. And we love her." ~Humanity. We think we're from here, but are we really? What happened to us before then, and who was involved? Kit - a young B-Tier Creationeer - didn't want this job. She's not trained to be an Intelligent Species Caretaker, and yet she's forced to care for the last remnants of a damaged and traumatized humanity by an old, malicious evil. After carrying us around in a modified to-go habitat bubble for 18K years, Kit wants a vacation, but is hesitant to leave us alone on our new planet she built; Earth. She confides in Pan - an A-Tier Caretaker and Kit's best friend and roommate. She reveals the full story of how she came to be in possession of us and why she can't hand us over to a licensed Caretaker. Pan reveals the tragic truth of the first 10 years of our existence before Kit found us. The new knowledge Ignites a fire in both. So the two young Ethereals come up with another plan that involves the three grad school roommates, Pan, Sid, and Kit, taking us on a long road trip to the Andromeda galaxy for some good old fashioned revenge- justice. And also Screw Jim. (warning: Contains strong language.) Please comment and vote. :) I'd really appreciate it. ^_^ (This idea was born from the second I saw a photo of Earth from orbit showing the glow of our atmosphere and thought, "Haha! We live on a bubble planet." :) ) NOTE: They're not gods. This is not theology. They don't have all the answers, they're not all powerful, and they can't do everything. They're closest equivalent in a fandom would be like lesser cousins to the Q. In this AU, Humanity knows about Kit. They don't deify her. To them, Kit's presence is normal, tangible, and real. She's always been there.

Without warning it began! The inevitable, I think it's fair to assume this book is not in my possession. This means I'm most likely dead. Most nights I wrestle the reason I have chosen to explain what happened, the things we did to each other, things no human being should witness. I Wright this simply to enlighten your poor soul and give you more of a chance than I had. A chance to survive what is most likely the brink of human extinction. Times are harder now and as the days go by we are less of our former selves. We have become husks floating around in a lost, desolate world. I look at this place and it still seems so alien to me, as the days roll into the nights I'm still unsure of how we got to this point. If you are reading this, you too are probably North and very much aware of what has happened to our beloved city. I feel a responsibility to inform you that you will most likely share the same fate as I have. I understand you may be wondering what's worse than death, trust me in this place death seems like a paradise compared. I do not know why I still feel so obligated to write this. To be honest most nights I think its just an escape from the madness, like a natural sedative it's the only way I can fall asleep in this hell. However I do need to clear my conscious and pay dividend for my demons. I need you to know what happened to me; I need you to know what we have become and what we are capable of. I need you to know why we have chosen to kill each other, why the smell of human flesh lingers in the air like slow roast pork on a Sunday afternoon. Why bodies litter our streets. Why things that seemed to be so impossible happen in front of our very own eyes. Why conformity i this place is the unreal ideas people live their lives by and why I was included into this group of youthful abominations. All of this might be irrelevant compared to what I am about to tell you.
