Every five years, the adolescents of the Archipelago are sent to an island filled with ferocious dragons. They must survive the elements, the dragons and - of course - each other. Only if they last a month on the island will they be allowed home, now considered real Vikings.
Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third has been dreading this day for years. Without friends, strength or endurance, there's no way he can survive the Dragon Games. Especially with the obvious rigging by Alvin the Treacherous.
All too quickly, Hiccup finds that it's time for the Dragon Games.
What will Alvin the Treacherous do?
Can Hiccup survive a full month of the Dragon Games?
What will happen when the night fury attacks?

This is an AU tying in elements from the Hunger Games and How To Train Your Dragon (mostly from the first film and the race to the edge series, as well as some aspects from the books).

Y/N haddock had once lived in berk and her father was stoick the vast, chief of berk. They had once gotten lost trying to find a dragon to kill too make there father proud but it backfired. They were lost in the woods for days upon days and miraculously had discovered a night fury, one of dad's greatest fears and very endangered but Y/N just couldn't kill it. Upon finding it Y/N tried to go back to berk to tell everyone about it but couldn't as they were scooped up by the night fury and brought to a beautiful island with abundant food and water supply. Overtime they had became friends and As berk was mourning Y/N was training a dragon, crazy if you think about it. Y/N overtime met new dragons and studied them for days upon days and slowly knew how to train all dragons of any class. Snotlout Jorgenson and his lackeys do the unthinkable and assassinate Stoick the Vast and frame Hiccup for the crime, thereby banishing the heir of Berk from his home. Hiccup is sent to Outcast island and meets Alvin the Treacherous and his hordes, but the Outcasts soon learn that Hiccup has a gift. The ability to tame dragons. Hiccup tames a Night Fury with all the Outcasts watching, and with that, they all vanished without a trace. The boy finds the most ruthless and most bloodthirsty Vikings in the Archipelago for one goal. Conquest. Hiccup's army of Vikings and dragons invade Europe and their goal is to become the most infamous and legendary Vikings in history, and Hiccup himself will prove to the world he's made himself strong and becomes a conquer. What if the dragons decided to stay at New Berk with the Berkians? Hiccup works to lead the people of Berk and at the same time continue to care for the dragons. The trialing times for Berk seemed to have finally passed. But the arrival of an old friend, and the mysterious disappearances of dragons around New Berk, threatens the peace of New Berk. And brings Hiccup and all he cares about closer to danger once again. Set directly after the events of "How to train your dragon: the Hidden World". WARNING:Possible spoilers! Includes references and characters from Race to the edge, references to defender/riders of Berk, as well as all the main story of the movies.
