Maria Goldvez, born in 1998 into a wealthy family of mob bosses, who had been practically running their small New York town. Her childhood was lonely, seeing as how her family's top priority was their business, not her. With Maria always being in danger, the family concealed her from the outside world completely.

Now, present-day, Maria is being forced to live with her grandmother in Italy due to a break in the FBI's investigation against her family's business. Little to her knowing there's more than just cute bakeries and gorgeous sights in Italy, something much bigger resides within the depths of her grandmother's city, or at least, someone bigger.
