When a mysterious journal is thrown into the hands of Hugo Anderson, and he notices that it's the journal of famed explorer Marco Polo, he gathers 3 colleagues, Johnny Thunder, Grant Maximus, and Vanessa Lambert to join him on a quest across the Orient to find Marco Polo's Lost Fleet: four thousand dollars in Byzantine gold coins.

However, their quest is not going to be easy, as they come face-to-face with CLOVER, a large mercenary group hellbent on finding powerful artifacts in an attempt to seize control over the world, and they soon realize that there is something more sinister about the treasure that they wish to pursue...
