And yet they all share the same birthday. When each child turns seventeen they go to the facility to be tested to see if their D.N.A is abnormal, if they are tested positive to have the disease in which case they are thrown in the Outer, outside of the walls and outside of society, because they are deemed to unpredictable and mutated.
