Depression isn't a beautiful thing that makes you desirable and lovely, it is a mental illness that can make an amazing person feel like a disgrace to this world, all the time. The thing about it is that people are so caught up in their problems that they don't notice how a smile could be fake. 

Isabelle Grace Lee happens to be someone with acting abilities so impeccable that no one notices how depressed she really is. And then she met Michael, and then everything changed, including his hair.
