A collection of short stories set in the cyberpunk-inspired world of Neon District.

The vignette is like a stained glass window, peering into a unique building, but with an entire hue of its own. Together, these pieces of glass make up a fragmented image of the near-future world.
Beatrice Baker, a professional liar, and Clyde, a mafia man who wants out, are two of those shards, placed together in small narratives in which they form the world around them.
At its core, these vignettes are entirely separate pieces written by myself (Iridantic) and a few guest authors. Plug in your mind and enjoy.

Redemption's Song and other short stories
My second collection of short stories, but longer than the works in my Read my Shorts collection. This volume consists of anything more than 1000 words and includes new works, re-writes of a few older pieces and anything else I found on my computer that I'd forgotten to post before. Mimi's Demons
An eleven-year-old Mimi can see demons. She finds one feeding on a mafia boss, unconscious and bleeding out against her favorite breakfast dumpster. When she saves his life, he rewards her by forcibly taking her from the streets to adopt her. But Mimi doesn't want a dad. She just wants to go back to her parking garage, away from people and the demons that feed on them, which her new 'home' just happens to be full of. She's also not stupid enough to believe a guy who is practically a demon himself could make good parenting material, especially for an unwanted freak like her. And whatever happened to her childhood friend, the monster under her bed? Rated M for violence, some language, mentions of torture, killing people, uh, mature subjects...am I missing anything? The point is, it's not M for porn or inappropriate relationships. Just dark stuff.Concluida
