A collection of short stories set in the cyberpunk-inspired world of Neon District.

The vignette is like a stained glass window, peering into a unique building, but with an entire hue of its own. Together, these pieces of glass make up a fragmented image of the near-future world.
Beatrice Baker, a professional liar, and Clyde, a mafia man who wants out, are two of those shards, placed together in small narratives in which they form the world around them.
At its core, these vignettes are entirely separate pieces written by myself (Iridantic) and a few guest authors. Plug in your mind and enjoy.

Neon District: Redux

Yuka Hara works for the Syndicate as their primary hacker where her current objective is to bring down the District's corrupt government led by Mr. Propaganda aka Eiji Okamoto. That is where she meets Sam Farrow, an immigrant from America trying desperately to not become another one of the citizens left in the dust on the streets. With the help of the Syndicate and someone from the inside, can Yuka bring the Neon District out of corruption from the inside out? -A MAFIA ROMAMCE- -3rd in the DAYDREAM AWARDS! - ~•~ "Elijah!" my sister ran back into the café as I finished paying for our order we had, worry was written across her whole face, I was clueless to why she looked so petrified. "Olivia? What's wrong?" I asked and held her close, she grabbed my hand and ran me out of the café until we were near an alleyway, even during the day the narrow lane was pitch-black. We reached the end of the alleyway and we were witnesses to something awful... Something horrendous... Olivia screamed loudly with her voice box as her body shook in anger, her hand rattled as it was holding mine. She was stunned and unable to move from the spot. I looked over at the individual who was dressed in pure black and had a mask covering their entire face... Except their blue orbs that were revealing themselves. ~•~ As soon as he reaches the alleyway, their lives turned upside down. For the better or for worse? Will they come to some sort of trade to ensure the pair both get what they want? But what happens when Elijah has no choice but to join Jayden, to ensure he reaches his side of the deal and gets what he wants and needs. Will Jayden kill them both in the end?
