The Burning Desire Within
~I felt it, the burning desire that lingered inside me. i couldn't control it, I felt my wings become tattered and change to black, I felt my red eyes darken, my hair becoming a deep reddish black. I felt my canine teeth extend, long black claws forced from my fingers where my nails used to be, a long slithering black tail had protruded from behind, the black horns that punched through the skin at the top sides of my forehead. I saw my entire skin was black. I wanted to control it, to force it back, to hide it, but I didn't want to. It had once again taken control of me, my body, my mind. Pushing my conscious to the furthest of my mind where it was clouded by the darkness that was currently exposed.~ An angel, named SIlver Ember, is shunned by all of angel society except by a select few. Born with the colors of crimson red eyes and hair with a bronze colored skin tone, is looked at as an abomination. She lives a somewhat normal life with the exception of a horrible nightmare that haunts her dreams since she was a child until she hears a strange voice inside her mind. A voice as deadly as the plague itself. While trying to figure out what's wrong with her she is suddenly pulled into spending time with Bracen, the prince of angels. She also meets a beautiful and charming merman, named Leomaris, that would make any female's heart skip a beat. She has no idea what's happening to her or what she's becoming until she has an interesting discussion with her mother. Is Silver a special angel or not even one at all? Just because she has wings means nothing. Silver has quite the battle while she struggles with love, being accepted, and control of herself.Complete

I felt his hand as it gently pushed the strands of hair that were blocking his view of my face, behind my shoulder. The action caused his fingers to involuntarily graze my jawline and neck making me stiffen. The short contact left my body feeling warm and my breathing to suddenly turn irregular. "I think you look beautiful." He said in that deep, soft voice that made me feel funny. I could still feel his fingers in my hair as they now seemed to instinctively move around the strands. The words leaving his lips sounded so good that I had to look to make sure he'd actually said them. We have written all 7 books already for series one (including a prequel about how they met as teenagers and what really happened that dreadful night they were separated in this life). We also started a series 2, and a spin off where they are never separated that night and had to run away without knowing demons were after them or even that they existed. Axel may be adored and worshipped by his peer-but he hates people, except 5. So when a beautiful but closed off girl suddenly enters his group. However, I was a kid when I wrote this so take it with a grain of salt. *** Like a deer in head lights, I freeze and watch as the car comes towards me expecting to get hit. But to my surprise, the car swerves to the side slightly next to me and comes to a stop. I take a deep breath I didn't know I was holding at the driver's side door swings open and a very pissed off Axel steps out. "Thank god," I mumble and place my hands on my knees to catch my breath. "Blaze?" He says and I hate it. I hate how he says my name as if it's his. Like he knows it's the only thing I want to hear, him calling out to me, looking at me, focused to me. It's the first time in my life I wanted someone's attention so badly I didn't care how I got it. And that was too dangerous for me to hold onto. "Are you insane or some shit? I could have killed you!" He says and starts to walk towards me. I take a big breath and step back away from him, "s-stop! Axel," I stutter still panting. It's then he notices the blood on my hands and shirt. "Is that blood?" He asks staring at my shirt and I take another step back. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. "Don't run from me Blaze it won't go well," he growls reading my thoughts causing me to freeze in my spot. "Do not ever think you can get away from me."Complete
Death's Lullaby

The only being that knows the truth is Death himself, for he is the one that sings this lullaby that makes us cross to our final resting place. Death knows who will die at the exact time and place from his Death List. All Death has to do is collect our souls, carry them to our final resting places, and repeat. That's it. Falling in love with a mortal on Death Row was never in the cards for Death though. Upon seeing this mortal girl he becomes infatuated with her and because of this, he spares her life. Upon his actions, Death was booted out of his position of being the Devil's right hand man and is sent to Earth to live out his days as a human. Arabella Jules, the girl that everyone notices, but on the inside she is dying. She can't take the pressure of all of the expectations in her life anymore and she is slowly forgetting the lovable and carefree person that she use to be. The day a new boy comes to school and teaches her to live a little turns her whole life around, but when will she figure out that he is Death himself? Destiny
The beautiful angel walks up to me and looks at me lovingly. A year ago, I would have been disgusted but now his gaze was doing things to me, things I didn't want, FEELINGS I wasn't ready for. My knees buckle under the gaze of his beautiful golden eyes. He smiles and at this point, he's standing right in front of me, so close he could probably hear my heart beating so erratically in my chest. Thump-thump He lifts his hand and touches my cheek oh so softly, his thumb brushing against my jawline. I let out a breath at the amazing feeling, Thump THUMP sparks flying through my skin. He smells like honey. He leans in my ear THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP and whispers, "Don't you even think about rejecting me". I look at him in shock, how is this being of goodness, of grace, looking at me with an emotion so rare for his kind to look at my kind with.... LOVE. He smirks and blushes at my reaction to him and his eyes brighten in delight, his eyes then trail to my lips, and his thumb brushes across them, I let out a shudder. [COMPLETED] "We both agreed, Apollo! We said no feelings, no attachments! You promised you wouldn't get attached." I look down at my lap in worry and shame. I have no idea what to say, I promised her, but like an idiot I broke that promise. "Say something!"
