Proceeding the Giant War, Annabeth Chase and Percy Jackson tried to continue a regular life, attempting to avoid all things that seemed to walk straight out of a mythological history textbook.

Apparently, 'regular' just isn't a word in their dictionary.

When a new enemy enters the couple's life, hellbent on revenge, their ideas of leading a normal life evaporate. An unfulfilled prophecy resurfaces again, unraveling hidden secrets as old as the gods themselves.

As usual, it's up to Percy and Annabeth to solve the problems the Olympians created, but as time goes on, the son of Poseidon and daughter of Athena face a sneaking suspicion that they may be fighting against fate itself.

Read as Percy and Annabeth not only try to defeat a seemingly invincible foe, but also struggle with their inner demons.

But after all, that's what they're best at doing.
