this is a poem based on a story that is yet to be published in due time called "The Script" . It is about a 19-year old grl who is repeating matriculant at a former model-C school and is faced with a number of challenges from fake friends, to enemies who turn out being good friends It show cases the hardships of being a school learner with a child and how life is in South Africa. I hope you enjoy the poem and the book based on it.

***this book contains suicidal thoughts and tendencies, may not be appropriate for younger audiences*** In which she looks for the purpose of life. Lily Carter's parents died in a car crash leaving her and Laura, girl was depressed long before her parents passed away and with all the problems turning up now, Lily felt more miserable - if that's even possible. With her journey to look for life's purpose and grab the small pinch of HOPE - which is ironically her second name -, will she finally snap at the pressure and finally end it all? or will a small light lit her darkened world of grief and loneliness? * "So you know. The little goth girl who gets bullied is indeed a mess. There's this mess in her head that eats her alive everyday isn't it? What to do now Kaden? Tell the whole neighborhood and recieve an award for taking out a crazy in this world?" I spit like vomit. His eyes warmed up as I finished, "Lily. It isn't like that" "What is it then? People stopped caring... they gave up, why aren't you?" I fought my tears. "Because I feel the need to care. Did Leigh hurt you? Did she hit you?" he finally noticed the unusual redness of my cheek. I don't like the way he told me he needed to care for me. I felt like an obligation, a responsibility that he is carrying and carrying leads to getting tired and when people gets tired, they give up. I don't want them to give up on me. But they will, so it's good not to make them care for me in the first place. "I never needed anyone. I stopped needing anyone before, why start now?" I uttered the words again. Why? There is nothing to fight for. No mama. No papa. No sister to love me. No one. So why would I waste my life and the time of others to fix what is already broken - and someone who doesn't want to be fixed? If I may add. Maybe I gave up. No, scratch that. I gave up a long time ago - when my parents died, my hope and purpose went away with them.Complete
Through the Goalposts
This story has stupidity, student suffering, and suppressed emotions. It follows Lachlan Mills, a 17 year old boy, as he struggles with his last year of high school, expectations, sports (mainly AFL), friendships, feelings, and a whole lot of idiocy. This is set in Australia so I'll defo put glossaries at the end of each chapter in case you don't know what something means. There's a lot of bad language in this, it's pretty realistic for Aussie high schools though so sorry in advance. There are some serious themes like mental health, but a solid amount of humour too. Also this is technically bl, it'll take a while to get there tho but trust. (I will edit this when i figure out the extent of everything this story covers.) Also i migth change this to mature age rating later. Bittersweet
|| COMPLETED || I want to be ready for college, but I'll be leaving everything behind. I don't want to forget my mom, my friends, or the memories made. Then again, I want to move on, run away from the heart break following me. I want to be free, I need to be free. For everything that I know, college could be a restart for highschool. A time where I don't make mistakes or where bad things don't happen, but I know they will. Though focusing on the negative won't lead me anywhere. Sadly though, that's all I ever learned to focus on. Learning things about my family that disgust me, learning about family members I didn't even know existed. It's all new, like morphing into a new body, you have to learn how to control. Sadly I don't know how to control myself, I can't control my emotions. I want to be ready for college, I am. I'll be leaving everything behind, but I need to escape the pain. ☆☆ Disclaimer - Read my first book 'Reality Hits Hard' to understand this book before reading it. Xavier Witts, a 18 year old boy hiding a nothing more than a couple lies... or so he says. Xavier never wanted to get attached to someone he could lose. He never to wanted to go through that again. But what happens when suddenly that person fights against his measures of protection? What happens when that person is willing to risk their life just to be with him? I wrote this when I was 15. I like to say that I'm a better writer now. Although this is where is started. This is what lit this passion inside me for writing. It's about a young influencer that falls for someone who she's not sure she deserves. She struggles with her thoughts.
