ＬｏｓＡｎｇｅｌｅｓ－９９９ Loading . . . ░░▓░░░░▓░░ 65% One detective, 3 hackers sitting in a room. I-N-V-E-S-T-I-G-A-T-I-N-G... "Children... trafficking?" The detective gave them a puzzled look. "Yes, Gerome. Children trafficking. Do I need to repeat myself?" The hacker with a blue LED visor rolled her emoticon eyes. "Wouldn't it be too hard to catch them all?" Another hacker pointed out. "Not all," the hacker with red LED visor shook his head, "Our focus is this guy." The screen showed them a photo of a man complete in a lab coat who was stroking a crying child who was forcefully tied to a chair. "Nolan Everette?" Gerome crossed his arms. "Isn't he the scientist who claimed to have succeeded in changing one part of a human gene?" "Correcto mondo." the blue visor nodded. "Oh, my lord," the other hacker gasped. "What is it, Gingy?" Gerome turned to her as Gingy covered her mouth in disbelief. "Z33," she turned to the blue visor hacker, "are you saying..." "We cannot point that out." Z33, shook her head. "Point what out?" The detective demanded. "Gary was on his killing list." Red visor explained briefly. ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃ Disclaimer, I did not own any of Lucifer or Lucifer's plot and character. It belongs to its original owner. This story is a combination of the show and my imagination. And sadly no smut, sorry. I keep it as clean as possible due to my inexperience and have a low tolerance for writing those spicy scenes. I know you guys want them, admit it. But this book might not be right for your reading desire. Side note, slow updates because my imagination tank is not always full of ideas.

The Beginning of the End

"Hey," She began quietly, much like how she greeted him in the penthouse several times when he hadn't known she was coming over. "Look, I promise that I'm trying to be okay with you leaving. I know why you had to do it. It was so brave, and I knew it's because you felt that you needed to protect me and Charlie, but," She paused to breathe, then continued, "It's so hard. Not to think of you, I mean, or stumble across a memory of you and tell myself not to think about it...not to feel. I'm trying so hard to forget everything that you made me feel." Everything meaning the annoyance, heartbreak, joy, sadness, fear, and love. All of it. "It's just hitting me now that this is the end." *** Three years after Chloe's and Lucifer's last goodbye on his balcony seemed like the end. He never intended on coming back to Earth, the threat of evil being released too great and only he could stop it. But when a larger threat works to over-throw him, Lucifer finds himself returning to Earth to protect Chloe and their friends. Is it the end of these star-crossed lover's epic love story...or is it just the beginning? This began as my take on what might happen in Lucifer season 5 (Netflix) before (and during) all of the teasers. I started writing this about a year ago, after season 5 was announced.
