What if John had been used for experiments when he was younger by his mother? In the original unOrdinary, they don't mention his mother at all. What if he was captured by Ember when he was little? How would unOrdinary carry out? There will be some OCs here and there. But just so the plot moves along. I'll also be doing other UNO fanfics if I feel like it. Until then! Ember has become extremely dangerous than ever before and its up to them to them to stop it. Facing a fight with his former friend, Seraphina, John is forced into a situation where he truly embraces the old. Unready and unwilling to change yet, John stands his ground with his years of experience propping him up to face the goddess who wants to talk. John knows what Seraphina wants, he's just not willing to give it. (This story is a take on the alternate future that could have been in Unordinary had John been more stable during his fight with Seraphina. This piece will delve into the idea of the final fight not being a simple solution where Seraphina breaks through to John, but starts an entirely different series of events with a slower path to reconciliation.)
