As the four main characters journal their first year of high school, friendships are broken and crafted as the group divides. When life and death enter the picture, who the characters should trust becomes more unclear. Unexpected feelings for one another coupled with sadness, regret, and a whole lot of drama make their year the perfect storm for unfortunate events.

Youthful Wishes
High school is the period of your life where you feel older and independent. It's also the time where you're restricted and forced into a slim expectation by standards and norms. High school is the last bit of youth you have before you are let loose into the sticky web of life. Within your last years of schooling, your habits and behaviors are what determine if you are a fly or a spider (at least that's what some people say). Clare Carter and her new group of friends are kicking off the school year in a powerful way as they battle new conflicts and the process of becoming high school students and young adults. Each character has their own unique story and background that will represent how they take each situation that comes up. They must tackle drama that takes place at school and home, as well as survive the activities that Freshman get to experience (homecoming, clubs, heartbreaks/relationships, the stress of doing well in school and figuring out a plan after they graduate). This group of friends are scheduled for a wave of realization if they think they'll stick together throughout all four years of high school. This story is created with my OCs that I have fun drawing. This is not an attempt to be a grand author or writer. I am merely using this opportunity as experience for fleshing out my characters and their personalities and backgrounds. The maturity setting was set to ON because any mentions of depression, suicidality, anxiety, sexuality, etc.. were placed under the mature label. Still trying to come to terms with her parents death seven years later after an awful car accident and having to live in a foster home is a lot to deal with. Cole is 18 years old, who is on the high school basketball team and is surrounded by loads of friends, but everything isn't as perfect as it seems. Struggling with his father being in prison and the rest of his family being so distant. Cole has nobody to turn to.
