***currently on hiatus*** (literally please don't read this it's so bad i have to edit the entire thing) ~~~~~~~~~~ Avengers fanfic where you just so happen to be Tony Stark's smartest (and therefore his favorite) intern, and best friends with Peter Parker. You live with the Avengers team in the compound where, when you and Peter aren't working on his suit, you two play pranks on the others. But what happens when new friends are introduced, emergencies are frequent, and maybe, just maybe, a blossoming romance with a sweet yet secretive suitor starts to form. TW: ptsd from verbal abuse, panic attacks, mild language (lots of ✨trauma✨, so if you get easily triggered, this may not be your cup of tea) --- (I do not own these characters {with the exception of Y/n}. All character rights above go to Marvel Studios.)

During the events of Civil War, you're just an intern - working under Stark Industries, sorting files, fetching coffee, completely invisible to most of the Avengers. But not to him. Not to Bucky. He shouldn't even look at you. You're soft. Kind. Whole. And he's a man being hunted, blamed, broken. But there's something about the way you offer him a quiet smile in the hallway, the way you bring extra sugar for his coffee without asking, the way you never flinch when his metal hand brushes too close. You don't see what the world sees when they look at him. And maybe that's why it hurts more. He wants you. Needy, aching, starving for something like comfort, but convinced he doesn't deserve it. Doesn't deserve you. And still, in quiet moments, the walls between you start to burn.
