Mayanna Rhodes a black African-American girl who watched her parents and only family die on a faithful night, when a group of white men they had been running from for years had found them. Her parents died gruesome deaths that night and until this day everytime she closes her eyes she remembers the heart wrenching screams of her mother and the agonizing groans of her father, but through all that the men who took their lives still hadn't been given the information they needed. She was left to wonder what was so important that it took her only family from her. How would her life change when she finds out?
