Sometimes a chance encounter and a kiss that should never have happened can change one's life forever. 

People are, more often than not, not what they seem to be and a stranger in a bar can happen to be the son of a deceased lor of the underworld. 

But when your own heritage comes to haunt you in the shape of the father you never knew, it turns out that particular stranger might be the only one capable of protecting you from your dark family ties.
And suddenly your life is not insignificant anymore but intense and woven with death, violence, betrayal and ultimately love.

Romance stories have always been my guilty pleasure so I decided to write one of my own. I would say it has some drama, humour, mystery and a dash of smut in it, so if it sounds like something you would enjoy, go ahead.
I don't pretend to be writing something to equal Dostoievski, but just a nice amusing afternoon read. To be viewed as such :D.

Also, this is of course a work of fiction and any resemblance of real-life characters, locations or institutions should be viewed as such. 

English is unfortunately not my native language, so even if I try to avoid them, my stories will contain mistakes. I do appreciate it when they are pointed out :). 

Clarifications:

-I do not speak Russian (more than a few words). If there is a native Russian speaker reading this and the translations are bad, it would be cool if you let me know.

- The MMC is Russian and British and the events in the book take place before the Russia -Ukraine war. Though I have strong opinions about politics, this is not the place for them and even if the book touches on some topics that can be perceived as serious it is not meant to go in-depth about any because I lack the expertise.All Rights Reserved
