"Are you breaking up with me?" he asked with so much pain in his eyes.
"Yes" I replied trying to keep the tears at bay. "I can do this" I kept on repeating in my head like a mantra.
"You cant" he replied with so much anger that I almost broke down in tears.
"Well it's not your decision to make and not choice to take" I replied trying to fuel my pain into anger.
"But I'm making it. You can't break up with me cause I won't let you and I love you so much Katherine" he said the last part breathlessly.
"Well I'm sorry but I don't love you anymore because..." I paused, not being able to watch the pain in eyes if I should complete it.
"Because what" he demanded.
"Because...I'm still in love with Benjamin" I finally said.
I opened my eyes to see him backing away from me. I watched him leave and I finally broke down like a broken chandelier but I would rather say a mud pot or so cause I don't deserve anything beautiful.
