"Which side will you fight for?"
A remastered version of the original story, Mario suddenly has a nightmare, but it felt more like a warning. During this, he and Luigi were sent into the woods by Princess Peach to investigate a mysterious power...a dark power. Mario thinks this power could be tied to the nightmare, thinking it's not a coincidence at all. They thought it wasn't something too serious...but it turned out they were wrong.
Will they be able to survive this power? Will they be able to fight back the darkness it holds? Find out with this heartfelt adventure the two brothers go to see which side they'll really fight for. The Darkness...or for the Light?

"Light and Dark are like two halves of the same coin. One can't exist without the other." Mario suddenly woke up from what he assumes as a nightmare. But in reality he learns that his 'dream' and the negativity that has spread through out the Mushroom Kingdom share a connection. Not only that...Luigi seems to have the same connection, but to light and positivity instead. Could this only be a coincidence? The two don't think the same at all. They both eventually find out that Luigi has the power over Light...and Mario has the power over Darkness. While Mario struggles to control this darkness they find that the balance between those two entities have become disconnected. Will light prevail and darkness expire? After marios repeated adventures where he always goes to save the world ...adventures where luigi had to rescue mario over and over again...where he almost saw him die ...every adventures bring mario on the verge of death ....one day luigi had enough and snapped ....now he'll do anything to make sure that his dear brother is safe and sound...he'll make sure to keep him close to him...and make sure he never leave his sights nor the house ever again...
