Abandoned by your dragon mother at age four. Separated from your father and sister at age six. Reunited with your mother, as well as all the dragons, four months after losing your father and sister. Abandoned again at age eight. Found by a certain dwarf old man three months later.
Life was finally going your way after joining Fairy Tail. Though still too young to go on job requests, just having people around you was enough. Especially when you were with a certain salmon haired boy. An eight year age gap prevented you from being with him, but just having him in your life made you happy.
