Sunako Okumura is a first year student at Karasuno High School. With her relationship with Oikawa on the rocks, Sunako turns to her long time friend Kiyoko to help find a way to clear her head, and ends up becoming the manager of the schools volleyball club. Not only does Sunako become drawn to the game and the family-like feeling of being part of a team, but she gets particularly close with the team's infamous setter, Tobio Kageyama.
