After losing her mom to the war in Afghanistan Lauren thought it was the hardest thing she would have to go through, but after her dad turns to alcohol and becomes abusive Lauren now has to juggle trying to protect her little brother and sister from they’re drunk and abusive father with her one true passion; gymnastics. Lauren and her younger siblings are now forced to move to Australia to live with their aunt and uncle, not having many friends in America was hard enough, now she has to make new ones in another country. However, when her new neighbors walk into her life, rather Michael Clifford walks into her life; her life will change for the better . . . and the worse.
