Her parents are always busy, her step-brother's in the hospital currently fighting leukemia. Jazz Fletcher is her name. She's a trouble maker, one of the reasons she had to switch to different schools all the time. She caused fights, grades sunk like the titanic. But all this because to finally get her parents attention to make them finally realise they're kids need them.
Her brother, Liam is basically her life at the point. Her parents never seem to pay any attention any more besides being busy all the time. They never even had the time to visit Liam in the hospital.
The poor boy cried into his sister's shoulder whenever they couldn't make it down. Liam only has Jazz and Jazz only has Liam.
Jazz meets Louis in their neighbourhood late at night. They chat for awhile...
