Kagome runs from Inu Yasha thinking he betrayed her. She ends up running into Sesshoumaru thinking her life has literally gone to Hell. Despite her travels to find the shards of the Shikon no Tama, her journey is about to get much more fickle than ever. I do not own Inu Yasha. Copyright goes to Rumiko Takahashi. I am merely a fan. Fanfic is Canon Divergent.

"You know, there's no need to steal." He said cooly Scared by his voice, I hopped back, hiding behind a table. "Who are you?" He asked "My name is Sonya..." Sonya was trained to be a lethal assassin, ever since she was able to walk. She hunted humans and demons. When her parents died, Sonya left the assassins academy. She wanted to pursue the life of a regular person. But her outcomes were anything but regular, when she meets Lord Sesshomaru.............I saw a smile creep up on his lips. "Sonya....there's plenty of food here, you don't have to steal." I smiled as he handed me an apple. "Thank you....what is your name?" "Sesshomaru." "Well, I must be on my way, sesshomaru.." I said turning around "You may stay as long as you wish." This begins when Sesshomaru was a kid and before his dad died and before InuYasha was born.
