'Everything happens for a reason. The only matter is if the reason outweighs the happening.' Vanessa is a normal college freshman who wants to have a normal life. But the odds are heavily against her. Brandon is suffering from traumas from his saddening past. Was there a mystery there or everything was exactly as he thought it was. When a girl is murdered in their college, her supposed killer reaches out to Vanessa and Brandon and their new friends. They have a decision to make, either to help her or to turn her in?
