This is my version, a humorous retelling of the famous legend, a medieval fantasy- coming of age- romantic comedy. *This story is purposely historically innacurate, set in some parallel, fantastical Britain that is different from what it had really been in the past, even though I'm using real locations, historically confirmed battles, and the Saxons as enemies of my legendary King Arthur. When Merlin ventured back to Ealdor to help fight off Kanen, he returned to Camelot with someone else, his little sister, Miriam. With a fiery personality and a heart that will never steer her wrong, she joins her brother in his destiny to protect the once and future king and ruler of Albion, Arthur Pendragon. A Ruby in the Rough
"I am Sir Lancelot Du Lac, a knight of Camelot." Lancelot calls into the emptiness. "I wish to speak with the king of dragons, if he is willing." Lancelot's voice echoes through the chamber, like a whispered wind inside of a long abandoned castle. "King Arthur?" Lancelot attempts again, his voice far smaller than before. "I heard your first request, Sir Lancelot." A voice booms throughout the cavern. Lancelot stills and a tremor moves through his body. "I am merely considering whether it is worth my time to consider whether you are being truthful or merely attempting to steal something from me." --------------------------------------------------------- There are dark works and darker magic at play in Camelot. A tyrant king rules with an iron and bloody fist, striking down any who oppose his cruelty. Sir Lancelot has never been one to stand down when faced with corruption and he will stand for it no longer. His mother, Lady Nimue, would tell stories of the king of dragons, King Arthur, and how his past was spent protecting the kingdom of Camelot before his disappearance. Perhaps a desperate knight with a deal can pull him back into a world that needs him. Maybe they kiss a little too.
Fate Itself Unravelled
'A half cannot truly hate what makes it whole.' When Arthur banishes him because of the secret of his magic after the battle of Camlann, Merlin has no choice but to comply with his King's, the other half of his coin's, wishes. But destiny has weaved their fates and lives together, and Merlin cannot stop protecting Camelot and Arthur even if he wants to, even if the Gods themselves command him to. It is just as well Arthur is having more than a few crises of his own.Complete

When Merlin shows Arthur his secret, he doesn't take it so well. He banish Merlin from Camelot and his return will be punished by death. But soon after Arthur have send Merlin away he regrets it. The next year he tries to find his friend, but fails. Suddenly he gets other thinks to worry about when Morgana attacks and she is not alone.Complete
