People go missing, some found dead, dismembered and mutilated, though a criminal is never found. Those that survived the attacks are disturbed, wrought with the horror that destroyed their minds, only thing that they mutter are 'The eyes, the red eyes...'

Kane's sister was one of these victims, having lost her right arm and mauled nearly to death, she now remains in the town's medical facilities at all times, constantly under watch since she had tried several times now to end herself. Kane has decided to try and find out what plagued his home town, will he find the monster and end it's reign of terror? Or will he simply because another victim?

And because of that pact, our village is protected for the next year, under the demon's watchful eyes. But this year, I'm the one who's chosen. I get to meet the demon I've feared since I was a child, and now that I'm 24, and am considered an adult, I could have left the village behind. But I didn't. Something inside me told me to stay. Now, I'm going to die. I just know it. I can't leave now, or run away, because the town would be unprotected for a whole year, and that's where my family lives. I don't know what to do, but I'm sure I'll think of something. Besides, how bad can this demon be if they're guarding our town?

As she journeys deeper she soon realises that her suspicions were correct - an old 'friend' has returned, and this time they don't plan on letting our protagonist get away... So how was that?
