Runner

Sampson Kennedy has been through quite a bit in her 17 years on this earth. Her parents split, her 'mother' leaves for another man, and her dad is left in the hospital fighting cancer.

Her life can't get any worse; and to top it off, she's a senior this year at school now. She has to work 2 jobs just to support her and he dad. What could possibly be any worse? She only had one more year in this city. She's going to enjoy it. Until she met James Bleu. The schools bad boy (he rides a motorcycle okay?!?) that happens to find an interest in Sampson.

"You are going to fall in love with me someday, whether you like it or not. I just have that effect on people like you. All I'm saying is don't be heartbroken like all the others. I'm a runner Sampson, I won't be there when you need me most." he looked at me with no sincerity at all.

"Don't worry. I'm used to people leaving me. And what's the damage in having a friend for a change? Even if it won't last long.."
