Harry is a 16 year old, queer teenager, living in a house in Manchester with his mom and stepdad. He also has an older sister called Gemma who went to College. His family supports him no matter what.

One day the Malik family moves into the house nextdoor and Harry and the 17 year old Zayn get to know each other.

Eventually they get really close.

But there are people that try to make it not work for them; 'close' friends, past lovers and Zayns' religious family. This causes a lot of drama.

In the end, when they finally take the risk and go out, they decide to keep their relationship a secret.

Though, people see what the two boys have and suspect things.
