It's the mid 19th century, 1867 to be exact. Going to see the circus that's in town, is almost as popular as going to a theme park today. It was a fun day for the whole family, going to watch people risk their lives for your entertainment.
Everything seems perfectly normal. Nothing is strange about this circus but the ring master... he seems awfully familiar. Almost as if, he's the one you read about in the papers every morning. He's the one you need to worry about. Almost as if... he's not normal. Not in the slightest.

We're not talking about just any circus, we're talking about the Amazing Digital Circus! A circus very different from the rest, with its clowns, magicians, sword swallowers and other circus members will show you a new definition of normality. Of course, even the happiest places have their dark, gloomy and even disturbing areas... 🎪In this AU Caine, Ponmi and others will have the appearances of the series. 🎪The Amazing Digital Circus exists physically outside of virtual space. 🎪References to psychological disorders and suicide.

Pinky and the Brain are in the '80s. Brain struggles with bipolar depression and anxiety. He also seeks to rule the world. It's hard, though, to accomplish much when you're low on money, unhappy, and living in a trashed city with twisted politicians. Pinky works as a clown for a clown temp agency. He loves his job, but things are hard. Pinky struggles with worsening hallucinations and Tourette's. He still tries his hardest to be kind to everyone and smile often. Hamington is a tough town to live in. It's filthy, full of violence, and there's a lack of mental health care. Pinky is 26, and Brain is 49. They are human in this. The movie Joker meets Pinky and the Brain. I'll update tags as I post. I have experienced most of the conditions or traits listed, but my experiences are not everyone's, especially when those experiences have been exaggerated GREATLY and given to fictional characters in a poorly-written fan-fiction. Scarlett didn't know what to think when she heard about the circus coming to her town; her town was small, rarely anything visited it. A Journey Back to Me: Learning to live with Borderline Personality Disorder is where Ringmaster and the circus performers take the audience on an adventure through mental illness. My book takes place at Planet Janet, a fantasy circus in which the Ringmaster interacts with each performance while interweaving my personal experiences of coping and living with the daily struggles of depression, rage, anxiety, panic attacks, and relationships.
