Miles Edgeworth has been struggling with his mental health a great deal lately and everything only seems to get worse when the man he and Detective Gumshoe were investigating begins to watch them closely. He bugs their homes and their offices and leaves them no room to talk to each other freely. After multiple secret meetings in abandoned houses, Miles takes Gumshoe's advice and goes into hiding. He plans carefully how to throw the other man off his trail and even lies to Gumshoe about where he's going. 
He ends up staying with Phoenix Wright as a last resort.
